pet can be a problem. You don't know where to stay because
not every accommodation will allow pets. And the thought
of leaving Fluffy or Fido at home is more than any single
person can bear.
We are trying to help you sort through
the tangle of possibilities for visiting the Hudson
Valley with your pet, be it a cat, dog or even a horse.
Many places in the Valley either will accommodate your
pet in special lodgings or will allow you to keep your
pet right with you. And scattered all through the Valley
are kennels, boarding facilities, horse stables, vets
and pet stores. We are trying to bring them all together
for you here in a single place for the entire Valley.
Qualifying to be included
in this listing is very simple. We have looked up commercial
guides and identified places that say they will either
accommodate or welcome pets. We also include any pet
specific businesses in the Valley. And finally, when
businesses submit information to us for inclusion in
our listings we are now asking them to specify their
pet policies.
